A new publication in Nature from CCS teams
A study by the Hickson and Liu groups, in collaboration with colleagues from Zhejiang University in China, has revealed how perturbation of DNA replication in S-phase delays the completion of replication until cells have entered mitosis. Results from this study have changed our view of the events taking place in mitosis, and have the implications for our ability to exploit the abnormal levels of replication stress present in human cancers as a therapeutic strategy.
