Congratulations to Eva Hoffmann with the ERC Consolidator Grant
Eva Hoffmann from Center for Chromosome Stability, ICMM, has received a so-called ERC Consolidator Grants from the European Research Council (ERC).
ERC Consolidator Grants are the ERC's way of supporting ambitious researchers
who have shown special potential in the first part of their career. The grant is intended to help consolidate their position and give them the opportunity to develop further.
What happens when genes, DNA and chromosomes are transmitted from parents to children?
What takes place in the biological process when it is normal, and what happens when it is not?
These are questions that Professor Eva Hoffmann intends to use her ERC Consolidator Grant to examine in depth.
