Congratulations to Ian Hickson and Ying Liu, May 2019

Congratulations to Ian Hickson and Ying Liu on being awarded two PhD Scholarships as part of a prestigious European Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.

This consortium is formed by 15 research groups from 9 universities in 6 European countries (Project: 859853 — AntiHelix).
The focus of the Antihelix project is to analyze DNA helicases in cells of different organisms at the molecular, biochemical and cellular level. The ultimate aim of this consortium is to develop specific inhibitors as potential anti-tumour drugs.
